The board is also intricately made to look just like the one from the game, so it’s more than just a flat board as a proper three-dimensional replica. The highly detailed pieces all represent characters from Kingdom Hearts. The chess pieces come in silver or gold and come with die-cast bottoms. The chess set is a replica based on the chess-like game that we see young Eraquis and Xehanort play during the opening stages of Kingdom Hearts III. Preorders are now live in all three regions for around $700 for the set. The chess set will be available in Japan, North America, and Europe.
